Air Conditioning Service (Re-Gas)
A vehicle's air conditioning system should be serviced every 2 years due to the fact the system will lose about 10% of its refrigerant every year or so. Replacing the refrigerant is also known as a re-gas. Connect your vehicle to our Air Con Diagnostic and recharge machine. Refrigerant recharge to manufacturers’ recommended levels. Replenishment of system lubrication oil. Check the system for leaks. Removal of air and moisture from the system.
Coolant System
The coolant is one of the most important parts of your engine's cooling system. Coolant Inhibitor is antifreeze with additives to assist in the cooling and give added protection to the internal waterways of the engine. It should be replaced regularly to avoid internal corrosion and ensure you do not get frost damage and keep your cooling system operating efficiently. The coolant is a mixture of antifreeze and water which helps to stop the engine from overheating in temperatures below freezing conditions. Our technicians will drain the old coolant from your vehicle and refill it with the correct mixture of water and antifreeze. Our technician will then run the vehicle to a normal engine running temperature and check the operation of the cooling fan.
*Please note the coolant service is included in the price as part of our major service.
Brakes
A vital part of car maintenance is to change your brake fluid to ensure the safety of all the brake hydraulic components. Inside the brake reservoir condensation occurs due to the heat generated from the brakes and then the water absorbs into the brake fluid. The water in the fluid lowers the boiling point of the fluid which can reduce the efficiency of your brakes when applied. Most manufacturers recommend that you change your brake fluid every 24 months. Our qualified technicians will drain the old fluid and environmentally dispose of it and then refill it with new brake fluid to the correct specification.
Fuel System Cleaner
The fuel system in your vehicle will over time create carbon and other contaminants build up in the engine. Our Wynn’s fuel system cleaner will help reduce the build-up of carbon and improve fuel efficiency as well as reduce your emissions. This in turn will give you great cost savings overall, more miles per gallon, and run a cleaner, greener engine.
Wynn's Injector Cleaner for Petrol & Diesel Engines
Is a treatment that increases engine performance, reduces black smoke, and improves MPG. Cleans injectors and restores spray patterns. Facilitates cold starting. Improves the ignition quality and combustion of petrol & diesel fuel. Reduces black exhaust smoke.
Wheel Alignment & Tyres
Wheel alignment /tracking refers to the geometry of the angle and direction at which the road wheels are set to. The most common cause for road wheels to become misaligned is hitting pot holes or bumping into kerbs. This can affect the angle of the steering which in turn can cause uneven tyre wear, poor road holding and increase fuel consumption. If you experience the steering wheel pulling to the left or the right or you have noticed your tyres wearing on the edges, then you may require your wheel alignment to be adjusted. We also have the facilities to check and adjust all four wheels' alignment.
